Temporary Faculty Pool, Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach role at California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH). This is a pool for appointments in the Women’s Basketball program within the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Position DescriptionThe Department of Intercollegiate Athletics at CSUDH invites highly qualified, motivated, and well-organized applicants for a pool of Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach appointments. The assistant coach is responsible for assisting with the operations of the Women’s Basketball program in accordance with NCAA, CCAA Conference and University rules, regulations and policies.
Responsibilities- Recruiting
- Scheduling
- Planning and organizing activities
- Fundraising
- Monitoring academic performance of student-athletes
- Promoting intercollegiate athletics
- Other duties as assigned by the head coach
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience required
- Experience working with undergraduates from diverse age, socioeconomic, cultural, and academic backgrounds
- Master’s degree

CSU will make a conditional offer of employment, which may be rescinded if the background check reveals disqualifying information or if information is knowingly withheld or falsified. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect employment status.
Additional InformationInitial salary for COACHING ASSISTANT - 12 MONTH is based on professional experience and educational background. As of July 2024, the classification salary range is: COACH ASST-12 (Job Code 2382): $6,288 - $7,658. An excellent comprehensive benefits package is available to eligible appointments, including health/vision/dental plans; fee-waiver for dependents; campus child-care access; and retirement benefits through the state system.
