Part Time Kids Coach For Introductory Martial Arts (South Bay)

We are looking for part‑time instructors to teach basic/introductory martial arts skills in Los Angeles, CA. No martial arts experience is necessary. Targeted at applicants who reside or are willing to commute to South Bay locations throughout Los Angeles (e.g., Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Torrance, El Segundo).

You’ll work outdoors, on location, at homes and parks, incorporating fitness, games, and exercise for children ages 6‑12.

• Any prior experience or background in sports, fitness, or martial arts
• Previous experience working with children in a group setting (REQUIRED)
• Fun, energetic, and enthusiastic
• Reliable source of transportation (no public transportation, ride‑sharing, or motorcycle)
• Commit to a semester of classes at a time (approx 8‑10 weeks)

• Available on weekdays and/or weekends in the afternoons (2 PM PT – 5 PM PT)
• Classes are 45‑60 minutes

• Training/assistant rate: $20–$30 per class
• After training, promotion to a sensei at $30–$40 per class
• After approx 8‑10 weeks as a sensei, promotion to a lead sensei for $40 per class + mileage reimbursement

• Flexible schedule
• Upon promotion, opportunities to lead parties, workshops, special events, etc.
