Senior Mobile Engineer

The Role:

We are looking for Senior Mobile Software Engineers who are passionate about building high-performance, cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.

As a mobile engineer at Linktree, you'll collaborate with product and design teams, working within our React Native ecosystem to create seamless and scalable mobile experiences. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of complex problems and have a major impact on our mobile apps as we scale.

What You Will Own

* React Native Expertise:
Work within and expand our React Native codebase using Type Script to build scalable, performant mobile apps for both iOS and Android.

* Drive architectural decisions and improvements to ensure efficient cross-platform development.

* Work with cross-functional teams (designers, PMs, engineers) to create the best possible user experience on mobile.

* Collaborate in the development of mobile app features and monitor app health through various frameworks and services.

What You Will Bring

* Strong React Native

Experience:

You have significant experience with React Native and Type Script. Familiarity with tools like Expo, Redux, or other mobile frameworks is a plus.

* Mobile Development Expertise:
You have a deep understanding of mobile app architecture best practices, especially in a cross-platform development context.

* AI-Driven Development:
Proven ability in leveraging AI tools for product development and code quality. Familiarity with specific AI coding tools like Codex, Claude, Cursor, or Devin is a strong preference.

* Prior Collaboration

Experience:

You've worked closely with product and design teams to create user-facing applications.

* Native iOS/Android Development Experience (Nice to Have):
While most of our work is in React Native, any native iOS or Android experience is a bonus.

* Quality-First Mindset:
You know how to balance quality with speed in a fast-moving product delivery cycle.

* Team Player:
You love helping both your teammates and our users by solving problems and delivering value.

* React Native (with Type Script)

QL backend APIs

* Statsig for experimentation

* Tools for monitoring app health, CI/CD, etc.

Linktree is committed to providing a fair and competitive compensation package including cash, equity, and benefits. The base salary offered for this role is targeted at $200,000-$220,000 for roles based in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Final offers depend on multiple factors including location, experience, expertise, and role scope, and may vary from the range listed.
