INTL - LATAM - Full Stack Senior SDET

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for Senior Full Stack SDETs. This role supports a focused automation initiative to complete and stabilize an existing v3 automation backlog by July 2026. The backlog consists of approximately 52 front‑end automation tickets and 20 back‑end automation tickets, covering UI workflows, service APIs, and integration scenarios. The work is automation‑first and delivery‑driven, with clear scope and defined outcomes.

You will design, build, and maintain automated tests for front‑end user workflows using JavaScript‑based frameworks (such as Cypress or Playwright, with Webdriver

IO as a plus), validating list views, detail views, dynamic UI states, and UX behavior. You will also create and maintain back‑end automation in Java using REST‑assured and Postman to validate APIs, publish flows, payloads, and integration logic. Day to day, you’ll translate acceptance criteria into reliable automated coverage, create and link test cases in Test Rail, and run/debug tests in CI pipelines.

You’ll collaborate closely with developers and product partners to clarify requirements, troubleshoot failures, and stabilize flaky tests. While the role is automation‑focused, some hands‑on investigation is expected to support high‑quality test automation.

• 7+ years of experience as an SDET or QA Automation Engineer
• Strong front‑end automation experience with Java Script
• (Cypress or Playwright required; Webdriver
  
  IO a strong plus)
• Experience with back‑end/API automation using Java, REST‑assured, and Postman
• Experience validating REST APIs, payloads (JSON/XML), and service workflows
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution
• Ability to work independently in a small, delivery‑focused team
