Founding Full Stack Engineer; AI-Native

Our first proving ground is mining and natural resources, but the platform is modular by design—built to scale into any industry where decisions are expensive and consequences are real.

As a Founding Full Stack Engineer (AI-Native), you will build across backend, frontend, and agentic layers to transform messy operational reality into fast, reliable AI-native systems.

This is a hands-on founding role with real users, real environments, and real consequences. You’ll ship product into high-stakes industries where reliability isn’t optional—and speed matters.

You won’t just build features. You’ll shape architecture, standards, and culture from day one.

• Ship full-stack product features across backend, frontend, and agentic layers
• Design clean APIs and scalable services that power AI-driven workflows
• Own features from concept to production

• Integrate LLM APIs into product workflows
• Design safe, pragmatic tool interfaces for AI systems
• Balance autonomy with guardrails in real-world operational environments

• Move quickly from idea to prototype
• Iterate based on live operational feedback from early customers
• Remove bottlenecks across the stack

• Diagnose and resolve issues across frontend, backend, and AI orchestration layers
• Improve system reliability, performance, and usability

• Collaborate closely with product, domain experts, and early customers
• Influence architecture, engineering standards, and early roadmap decisions
• Help shape hiring and engineering culture from the ground up

• 7+ years of relevant engineering experience
• Strong fluency in Python or Type Script
• Proven ability to ship full-stack features end-to-end
• Experience integrating LLM APIs or building AI-augmented features
• Strong debugging skills across backend and frontend systems
• Clear communicator with a bias toward action and simplicity
• Comfort operating in zero-to-one environments

• Experience building agentic workflows or tool-use patterns
• Familiarity with React, Node, FastAPI, Next.js, or similar frameworks
• Exposure to workflow engines or event-driven systems
• Experience in operations-heavy or industrial domains
• Prior startup or founding-team experience

• Speed with clarity
• Technical rigor without unnecessary complexity
• Simple systems over clever ones
• Prototypes over over-planning
• Ownership over handoffs

You’ll work directly with founders and ship systems that operate in the real world—where decisions are expensive and outcomes matter.

Hybrid role based in San Francisco Bay Area or Los Angeles, CA

Regular in-person collaboration is expected. We are not a remote-only company.
