We’re looking for a Senior
Platform Engineer who will help us design, build, and maintain high-performance scalable services and APIs that enable our product teams to quickly iterate on new applications and services.

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure the mission critical systems that enable Serif Healths’ products meet the needs of the company.
• Help establish, implement and maintain monitors that keep us informed of platform operations.
• Design tools that empower the operations team to efficiently react to changes in data gathering, processing, and delivery requirements.
• Build out new reporting capabilities atop of our price transparency dataset.
• Maintain awareness of current industry developments and best practices.

• At least 5 years of commercial experience as a Software Engineer
• Fluent in Golang.
• Familiar with Python and NodeJS.
• Experience working with cloud based infrastructure (AWS preferred)
• Experience working with containers and container orchestration (Kubernetes preferred)
• High attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently, move quickly, and self-manage for high-impact in a small team environment.

• Experience with healthcare data: medical claims, prescription drugs, life sciences, procedures pricing or billing
  .
• Prior work in a startup or high-growth software company environment.
• Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with large data sets.
• Experience supporting highly available applications under strict SLA requirements.
