Job Description

THE OPPORTUNITYSilvus is seeking a full-time
* Embedded Software Engineer (Web Interface Developer)
* reporting to the
* Director of Software Engineering
* on the Software Engineering team.  The successful individual in this role will participate in the development of Silvus’ MANET radios and advanced research projects.  This position is on a hybrid schedule, a minimum of 3 days onsite per week is expected. On-site days are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The location for this role is Silvus Technologies’ headquarters in the heart of vibrant
* West Los Angeles, CA*.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following is a list of at least some of the current essential job functions of the position. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities at any time at its discretion.
* Develop, maintain, improve and test Silvus Stream Caster radio’s web interface and network management software.
* Develop applications running on the Silvus Stream Caster radios.
* Travel requirement: rare local travel, as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
* Demonstrated expertise in JavaScript, HTML, and Python backend development.
* Experience in mobile friendly web interface development.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

* Experience in UI test automation.
* Experience with C programming.

COMPENSATION: $43.27 - $57.00 / hour USD###
* The salary range is NOT a guarantee, is based on market research and peer data, and will vary depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.*## Basic Requirements
