Senior Full Stack Engineer | Mobile & Web Applications | Onsite Los Angeles | Energy Startup

Berkley Hunt is partnering with a high-growth, early-stage startup, driven to address the global water crisis by developing cutting-edge desalination technologies.

We are seeking a full-time Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to take the lead on building and maintaining the web and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Bluetooth and a track record of designing, shipping, and deploying both mobile and web applications. This role is best suited for a technical generalist who enjoys early‑stage, fast‑paced environments and wants end‑to‑end ownership of the software stack.

Who

You Are:

• Comfortable building full‑stack applications
• Frontend: iOS, Android (shipped an App on both), and React Native or Flutter
• Backend:
  Node.js, React, Python, Java, or equivalent
• Experience designing, developing, and integrating software for devices that use Bluetooth technology
• Experience designing for reliability, maintainability, and offline environments
• Self‑directed, hands‑on builder who values clarity, simplicity, and cross‑functional work

Responsibilities:

• Develop user-facing applications for Mobile (iOS + Android) or Web Applications
• Integrate with cloud services for data collection, OTA updates, and diagnostics
• Collaborate tightly with hardware, test, and product teams to create robust, scalable systems
• Design, build, and maintain the systems and infrastructure that collect, process, and move large volumes of data
• Shape foundational software architecture, stack, and developer workflows
• Build or onboard and maintain internal tools, dashboards, and device monitoring infrastructure

Bonus

Qualifications:

• Cellular experience, remote monitoring, OTA update pipelines, or IoT platforms
• Familiarity with hardware/software integration and field deployments
• Experience with high‑rate manufacturing, MRP, ERP systems
• Experience with embedded firmware (C/C++, RTOS, or similar low‑level systems)
