Job Coach / Direct Support Professional (DSP)

ETTA (non‑profit / Human Services) is seeking a Job Coach / Direct Support Professional (DSP) to mentor a young man with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in our Employment Services - Community Integration Department.

North Hollywood (San Fernando Valley) and surrounding communities

Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Must have some professional or personal experience supporting individuals with special needs.

Seeking staff to mentor and be a role model for our young adult male client. The job title is Job Coach / Direct Support Professional (DSP). Seeking staff who will be respectful, with a strong, engaging personality; someone who can inspire the client and be creative in their approach to the daily agenda and overall goals.

• 21+ years of age
• A valid driver's license (for a minimum of three years), clean driving record, and proof of valid vehicle insurance coverage (your name must be listed as an authorized driver)
• Willingness to drive with our client using your personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided)
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Paid Training Provided (weekdays / daytime hours).

We have provided services and support for individuals on the spectrum, and with other intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1993. We also help their families as one of the premier providers of such services on the West Coast.
