Position: MAINTENANCE AND CONSTRUCTION HELPER 3115 (B)
ANNUAL SALARY
$51,072 to $72,641 and $53,473 to $78,174. The salary in the Department of Water and Power is $73,622 to $91,475 and $102,249 (flat-rated).
NOTES
Licensing verification for Class C licenses will occur at the time of appointment. Verification for Class B will occur before the end of probation.Certain assignments require a valid Class B driver’s license; a commercial driving history may be requested prior to completion of the probationary period for positions requiring Class

Six months as a Utility Pre-Craft Trainee with the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power;
or one year of full-time paid experience in construction, craft or landscaping work;
or one year of such experience while in the United States Armed Forces.Six months of the required experience may file at time of filing but cannot be appointed until the one-year requirement is met.Active United States Military personnel may file; appointment occurs after military service and satisfactory performance, with proof provided prior to appointment.RESPONSIBILITIES
A Maintenance and Construction Helper does a variety of semi-skilled manual tasks in construction, maintenance and repair activities.

From Friday, January 30, 2026 to Thursday, February 12, 2026;
