Facilities Technician

Overview

This position will provide maintenance services throughout the Providence Holy Cross Service area. It performs repairs on electrical equipment and will repair air conditioning controls, plumbing, drain snaking, carpentry, painting, plastering, and other assigned duties. This position works under the general supervision of the Facilities Manager.

• Perform repairs on electrical equipment and systems, air conditioning controls, plumbing, drain snaking, carpentry, painting, plastering, and other assigned maintenance tasks.
• Provide maintenance services across the Providence Holy Cross Service area.

Required Qualifications

• 2 year trade school degree or certificate with vocational training in mechanical, air conditioning, electrical, welding, automotive, etc., plus 3 years experience with commercial or industrial building maintenance; or
• 5 years experience in commercial or industrial maintenance and repair (e.g., Hospital, Hotel, High Rise buildings).
• California Fire and Life Safety Card – National Organization within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• EPA 608 upon hire.
