- We are certified for CAT and Cummins repairs, and qualified for Allison maintenance and rebuild services (experience with these is strongly preferred).
You’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain medium-duty trucks with a focus on safety, quality, and clear communication.
Core responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance inspections, oil changes, chassis lubrication, and identify worn/damaged parts
- Repair/diagnose major systems with minimal supervision (based on skill level), including clutches, electrical systems, hydraulic/air brake systems, HVAC, instruments/gauges, and PM services
- Diagnose/repair major components including gasoline and diesel engines, drivetrain/powertrain (differentials, transmissions, driveshafts, PTOs, wheel ends), engine bolt-on components (turbochargers, fan clutches, injectors/fuel system components), and electronics (ECM/ECU/sensors)
- Road test vehicles as needed to confirm concerns and verify repair quality
- 5+ years of practical experience in mechanical inspections and repairs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency with shop tools/hand tools; ability to supply a basic set of hand tools (as applicable by role/level)
- Valid driver’s license; must have or be able to obtain a CDL
- Comfortable working in non–climate controlled conditions
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Basic computer skills for maintenance systems and documentation
- Willingness to travel as needed (customer yards and training sites)
- Experience with diagnostic tools
- Experience with CAT and Cummins engine diagnostics/repairs (certified repair environment a plus)
- Experience with Allison transmission maintenance and rebuild-related services
- Experience working on International and Mitsubishi Fuso medium-duty platforms
- Vocational/technical certifications
