- Install, pre‑wire, program, commission, and troubleshoot AV and home automation systems
- Perform ongoing service, maintenance, and upgrades as required
- Train clients on system usage and respond to technical inquiries
- Maintain high levels of safety, organization, and professionalism on all job sites
- Read and interpret electrical, architectural, and signal‑flow drawings
- Support project completion with additional tasks as required
- Certification on Lutron RA3, Lutron Home Works QSX, Lutron Shades & Savant – required
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in the AV, home automation, or low‑voltage industry
- Experience in integrated security, networking, and audio‑visual systems, specifically installations and service work
- Experience installing or servicing AV, automation, security, or networking systems
- Ability to work independently and problem‑solve effectively
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
- Comfortable working on residential and commercial sites, including mid‑to‑high‑rise buildings
- Proficient with Windows or macOS
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Ability to read technical drawings and documentation
- Must have basic personal tools (hand tools, drills, multimeters, terminating tools)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong interpersonal and customer‑service abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional, reliable, and detail‑oriented
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
- TQ certification (Canada), U.S. equivalents, or FSR certification considered a bonus
- CEDIA certification is a bonus, not required
$55,000 – 75,000 USD Per Year
