As a Security Officer Hospital Corridor Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for assistance, support staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and customer service, and document observations and incidents.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation, responding to alarms, and coordinating with clinical staff and/or local responders as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity, identify maintenance hazards, and document observations per post orders.
  • Control access to designated areas by verifying identification and/or authorizations, managing visitor flow, and providing directions and assistance in accordance with facility rules.
  • Complete shift logs and incident reports, communicate noteworthy activity to site leadership, and use radio and/or phone systems to support timely security-related notifications.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Have 2+ years of security experience.
  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Have 2+ years service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
  • Being able to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
