You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, professional customer service. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property.

+ Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the building, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access concerns.

+ Monitor access points and property activity, verify identification and/or authorization when required, and help manage visitor and contractor entry according to site procedures.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, disturbances, and suspicious activity to the appropriate parties.

+ Complete detailed shift reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs, and communicate observations and/or concerns to Allied Universal management and site contacts.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have 6+ months of security experience.

+ Be able to lift up to 20 lbs preferred.

+ Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.

+ Have CPR and/or First Aid preferred.

+ Be able to use handcuffs and/or pepper spray and/or baton preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
