As an Armed Security Guard – Transit Safety Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a transit location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help reduce security‑related incidents. You will respond to calls for service, observe and report unusual activity, and communicate clearly with riders, staff, and local partners.

Pay Rate: $27.58 / Hour

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, access control, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transit location.
• Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of facilities, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, providing initial scene control and timely notifications to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor cameras, radios, and other systems; complete detailed incident reports and patrol logs; and communicate clearly with on‑site staff and local law enforcement when needed.
• Assist with crowd management during peak periods and special events, provide directions and information to the public, and support orderly movement through entrances and restricted areas.

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Baton permit is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
