Position: Security Officer - Flex Armed Branch

Location: Los Angeles, CA

You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Armed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution location, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence.

This armed position offers the opportunity to interact with clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and verify identification to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment.
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
• Communicate and collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Remain alert and attentive while carrying a firearm, adhering to all applicable laws and Allied Universal policies regarding armed posts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
