Position Overview

Responsible for safeguarding company employees, assets, property and customer’s freight while in the possession of Fed Ex Freight. Reduce losses attributed to theft by proactive preventive measures. Report and investigate losses attributed to theft.

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience plus five (5) years of law enforcement and/or corporate security experience
• Background in alarm and Closed Circuit TV (CCTV) technologies, preferred
• Ability to direct investigations
• Experience in courtroom testimony pertaining to presentation of evidence and criminal law violations
• Ability to adequately document and manage case file preparation and presentation
• Ability to conduct covert surveillance undetected
• Ability to attend and successfully complete advanced training in Risk and Vulnerability Assessment and other specialized training
• Ability to track expenditures for budget review
• Excellent time management, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Experience and ability to use Microsoft Office Software, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team member

The compensation listed reflects the pay range or rate of pay reasonably expected for this posted position at the posted location(s). If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the pay information represents the minimum and maximum range for all levels. Actual pay is determined by job-related factors permitted by law and relevant to the position, such as experience, tenure, market level, pay at the location for this job, performance, schedule, and work assignment.

Pay Range: $89,777.00 - $ per year
