Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: Guards, patrols, or monitors premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Assist with emergency situations, First Aid, CPR and AED.

Demonstrate and adhere to a working knowledge of Community Emergency Response Team Certification. Be an essential member of Goodwill’s Emergency Response Team.

Assist in the training of new Security Officers in company standards, security policies, and procedures.

Help promote health, safety, and liability awareness; act as a safety leader.

Patrol industrial and commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows, and gates.

Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
