• Provide customer service by following security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.

• Monitor for unusual or suspicious behavior and report findings to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by verifying identification and granting entry to authorized individuals.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and the-medium.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions within the educational environment.

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security‑related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
