What You’ll Do:
• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, utilizing training and protocols to assist in resolving issues.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and to observe for any unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and screen individuals entering or exiting the premises to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain order.
• Document and report security‑related incidents, activities, and observations according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed during incidents or critical situations.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disturbances and provide assistance to staff and tham.
Minimum Requirements:
• Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
