As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, by welcoming visitors, monitoring access, providing customer service, and supporting a secure environment on our vibrant campus location.

• Greet visitors, students, and/or staff in a professional manner while monitoring access at the front desk.
• Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering the premises, following site‑specific policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Assist in maintaining order in the lobby or entrance area by observing and reporting any unusual activity or security‑related concerns.
• Provide customer service by answering questions, offering directions, and assisting with general inquiries from guests, students, and/or staff.
• Document and report security‑related incidents, observations, and/or concerns according to Allied Universal and client site procedures.
• Assist with emergency response activities at the front desk as directed by Allied Universal and client site protocols.

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required as per federal, state, and local laws.

• Drug screen required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
