Area Sales Manager at Surgical West, Inc

Responsible for selling medical products and services to hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals. Sells products such as instruments, devices, and medical equipment to be used in General Surgery, Neurosurgery, ENT Surgery, and Orthopedic Surgery.

• Travel to defined geographies to sell medical equipment.
• Contact potential customers at hospitals, clinics, surgery centers, to sell medical products and equipment.
• Provide support in the Operating Room for surgeons and hospital medical teams.
• Deliver presentations to doctors, practice staff and nurses in surgeries, hospital doctors.
• Build relationships with medical staff.
• Perform product demonstrations, installations, and application support.
• Improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
• Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to generate orders or talks with customers within hospitals and by phone.
• Gathers, analyzes and delivers information from the field to allow the company to develop strategies to achieve sales goals.
• Help in the installation and set‑up of equipment.
• Stay informed about the activities of health services in a particular area.
• Forecast and achieve sales goals.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 0-2 years experience with business to business sales and business to customer sales.
• Strong management, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in fast paced working environment.
