The Director of Travel Industry Sales is responsible for driving top‑line revenue through strategic acquisition, development, and retention of luxury leisure business. This role focuses on cultivating relationships with high‑end travel advisors, luxury consortia, tour operators, and affluent clientele to position the hotel as a preferred destination within the global luxury leisure marketplace. The ideal candidate is a relationship‑driven sales leader with deep knowledge of luxury travel trends, exceptional negotiation skills, and a passion for delivering bespoke guest experiences.

Job Duties
- Develop and execute a comprehensive luxury leisure sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue, ADR, and market share goals.
- Build, manage, and grow relationships with luxury travel advisors, consortia (e.g., Virtuoso, Signature, AMEX FHR), wholesale partners, and select tour operators.
- Act as the primary ambassador of the hotel to the luxury leisure market, representing the property at international and domestic sales calls, roadshows, trade shows, and industry events.
- Negotiate preferred partnerships, contracts, and promotional agreements that align with brand positioning and profitability objectives.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Revenue Management, and Operations to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and exceptional guest experiences.
- Maintain accurate account management, forecasting, and reporting using CRM and sales tracking tools.
- Host and coordinate familiarization trips, site inspections, and VIP client visits.
- Monitor competitive landscape and adjust strategies to maintain the hotel’s competitive advantage in the luxury segment.
- Uphold brand standards and ensure all sales activities reflect the hotel’s luxury positioning and service culture.
- 5–8 years of progressive sales experience in luxury hospitality, with a strong emphasis on leisure sales.
- Proven track record of success within the luxury travel advisor and consortia ecosystem.
- Established network of luxury travel industry contacts preferred.
- Strong understanding of luxury guest expectations, experiential travel, and personalized service.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally, as required.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, sales analytics, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
