Role Title

Sales Account Manager EI

Responsibilities
  • Cultivate relationships with customers to drive sales for elevator and escalator services, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and identify and pursue sales opportunities.
  • Manage existing and new customer accounts, retain customers, and act as liaison between customers and Schindler.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders to achieve sales objectives.
  • Collaborate daily with the Field Superintendent and technicians to drive lead generation and ensure an excellent total customer experience.
  • Negotiate contract terms favorable to the company while delivering on customer requirements.
  • Prepare estimates, maintain accurate customer records, and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of B2B sales experience in the elevator or related industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, objection handling, and closing skills with a proven sales track record.
  • Ability to empathize, listen, and connect with people to form outstanding customer relationships.
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Motivated, resilient, and customer‑focused mindset aligned with Schindler values.
  • Experience with SAP and a results‑driven mindset preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle a mix of office and fieldwork, with flexibility for travel and managing customer interactions.
