Overview

Full Time Automotive Mobile Sales Representative – Robotics and Digital Solutions (RDS) Division of The Hillman Group.

Location:

Los Angeles, CA.

Schedule:

Thursday to Monday. Pay: $23-$25 per hour plus commission (based on experience).

This position involves training on key duplicating (Minute Key) sales and will focus on managing weekly sales goals of automotive keys. The role includes on-site customer demonstrations in stores (e.g., Home Depot, car dealerships) and collaboration with mobile locksmith teams.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Mobile Locksmith Technician driving a mobile van, assisting customers with locksmith needs and selling key fobs.
  • Intercept customers at various “big box” retailers and sell auto key duplication services from the van in the parking lot.
  • Direct, person-to-person sales; comfortable approaching and selling customers on the spot.
  • Develop your route to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Operate the mobile “store” as a model for future mobile locksmiths and sales.
  • Manage inventory, schedule meetings and keep the van in showroom condition.
  • Share ideas, collaborate with managers, and set the standard for Mobile excellence.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and build partnerships with new business accounts, including but not limited to used car dealerships.

Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED (some college preferred).
  • Minimum 2-5 years' experience in direct sales or sales management, preferably in outside sales, account management or B2B sales.
  • Previous experience in the locksmith, auto or retail industry.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Work Environment – Sales/Service environment varies by location/store setup. May involve cramped quarters, dust, fumes or odors. Travel required daily; up to approximately 200 miles daily. Hand-eye coordination, vision and hearing required.

Physical Demands – Medium work; lifting up to 30 lbs, occasionally pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs.
