Dealer Account Manager

OverviewOur Dealer Account Managers are individuals with the vision and dedication needed to assist our current and future dealer partners grow sales by providing direct auto finance options. The role is dynamic with a rewarding pay plan. The manager will source and maintain existing dealer relationships, ensure monthly quotas, and manage sales activities and account development for assigned dealers.
Responsibilities- Present and communicate company products and services to all levels of management within independent and franchise dealerships.
- Identify sales prospects and contact assigned accounts.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from telephone calls for independent and franchise dealers.
- Prepare presentations and proposals for all levels of management within franchise dealerships.
- Develop, maintain, and grow current client relationships within independent and franchise dealer communities.
- Maintain constant communication with dealers on current promotions, marketing information, and training documents.
- Train dealers on proper documentation needed for fast funding of contracts.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four‑year college or university (preferred).
- Automotive, finance, and sales experience (required).
- Previous outside sales experience (preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) (required).
- Knowledgeable with web applications (required).
- Experience with Dealer Track, Route One, or CUDL (beneficial).
- Ability to persuade and influence others.
- Presentation skills from creation to delivery.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of cold calling, appointment setting, and sales techniques.
- Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
- Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technology.
- $55,000 – $103,000 annual range with bonus.
- Monthly bonus performance‑based compensation.
- Guaranteed commission for the first 6 months.
- Final compensation determined at hiring, based on location, skills, experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
