The Food Service Sales Manager is responsible for performing sales-related duties at a professional level for Markets in the USA. This person will work closely with House of Spices management and staff in supporting designated geographic regions.
Essential Functions
- Act as an Area Sales Manager, overseeing a designated territory or set of customers within the Wholesale restaurant food suppliers and distributes.
- Take sales orders and provide comprehensive information on pricing, stock, products, deals, and promotions to House of Spice India Inc customers.
- Maintain customer accounts in good standing, including managing collections, returns, credits, and obtaining deposits and balance of payments from clients.
- Create customized proposals and pricing for large parties, catering, and private events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key partners.
- Serve as the main point of contact for catering clients and ensure seamless execution of services.
- Maintain customer accounts in good standing, including managing collections, returns, credits, and obtaining deposits and balance of payments from clients.
- Track and report on sales performance, revenue targets, and customer feedback.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Generate leads for new business and identify opportunities for development within the restaurant industry
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in hospitality sales, restaurant management, or catering sales (preferably with a focus on South Asian cuisine).
- Strong understanding of Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, or Nepali food and cultural dining preferences.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
