Technical Sales Engineer - Cutting Tools South California Area
Seco Tools is seeking a results-oriented Regional/Territory Technical Sales Professional for the Southern California Area to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in technical sales, with expertise in the cutting tools market. As a Regional/Territory Sales Professional, you will represent Seco Tools and its comprehensive metal cutting solutions to a diverse clientele across various sectors, including automotive, power generation, oil & gas, mold & die, construction, agriculture, and firearms.

Role Requirements
- This is a regional territory sales role requiring 5-7 years of proven successful territory or regional sales experience in a technical, consultative, solution-oriented sales role, with proven experience in the manufacturing or distributor focused sales environment working independently from a home or virtual office environment.
- Proven territory sales skillset with experience and strong technical aptitude in a manufacturing environment where product application solutions are required in a distributor and end user environment across an array of market segments.
- Strong skills in qualifying, demonstrating and influencing customers.
- Travel (50-60%) in the Southern California Area is required to manage the territory requirements and engage, qualify, develop, support, and secure new business for Seco Tools’ cutting tool solutions with new and existing end user customers and through distributor channel partners.
- 60% End User Account Management & New Business Development; 25% Distributor Channel Partner Account Management & New Business Development; 15% Administration – Territory planning, sales administrative activities and reporting.
- Metal cutting knowledge and experience is required.

Base salary range: $70,000 - $90,000.
