We’re seeking an experienced Associate Director of Sales to join our West Territory team
, supporting a high‑growth region spanning Orange County, Los Angeles, and Northern California
.

The ideal candidate will be based in Orange County, Los Angeles, or the Napa area and thrive in a fast‑paced, relationship‑driven environment
. While this is a remote role
, regular regional travel is required to cultivate and expand partnerships across California
.

About the Job

This is a key leadership position overseeing a high‑growth territory spanning Orange County, Los Angeles, and Northern California. You’ll manage both a personal book of business and a team of Sales Managers and Associates, driving new revenue and strengthening partnerships across multiple California markets.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Own and grow a personal book of business (~$3–4M annually)
  • Achieve sales metrics through thoughtful and strategic leadership
  • Develop and train on effective sales strategies
  • Maintain and build strategic partnerships with key customers, including hotel partners
  • Lead the hiring, training, and development of a high‑performing sales team
  • Liaise with department leaders to ensure collaboration across functions
  • Conduct annual and bi‑annual reviews of all Sales department team members and recommend promotions or discipline as appropriate
  • Motivate and educate team members to hit key company and individual performance goals
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasting on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Define and refine ongoing sales training for new and tenured team members
  • Engage with clients during pre‑sale, development, and execution to increase win rate and repeat business

  • 6+ years of proven sales success in a DMC or a related industry such as hospitality or events.
  • Salesforce power‑user with a deep understanding of the platform’s features, can effectively manage sales pipelines within Salesforce, and can create custom reports to analyze data, share insights and identify trends.
  • Verifiable knowledge and relationships in the specific, local destination.
  • Successful negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
  • At least 2 years experience leading high‑performing sales teams and achieving revenue targets.

  • Customer Service:
    Obsession with providing excellent customer service and a passion for the hospitality and special events industry.
