Konica Minolta Business Solutions Canada is seeking a Digital Embellishment Sales Specialist to expand relationships with existing customers and drive growth across MGI product lines.
OverviewThe Digital Embellishment Sales Specialist expands relationships with existing customers by directing and supporting collaborative sales efforts to grow the complete MGI product lines within two key customer demographics:
Commercial Print and Industrial Print. The role assists all sales channels (Direct/Dealer/Canada) in pre‑ and post‑sales activities on qualified opportunities referred by the Regional Vice President of Production Print, the KM‑1 Vice President of Sales, Production Print Sales Account Representatives (PPS), Commercial Print Sales (CPS) Representatives, Production Solution Consultants (PSC) or other sales personnel. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales Operations, the specialist is responsible for achieving sales quota in assigned product lines and supporting the product‑line success of an assigned team of sales associates.
- Supports the success of an assigned team of salespeople (PPS, CPS, PSC, and senior sales leaders).
- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines.
- Provides coaching and professional development to team‑member sales associates to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
- Leads demand‑generating marketing activities in the assigned market for the assigned product specialty.
- Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
- Coordinates customer involvement of other company personnel when needed, including support resources, team members, and management.
- Responds to the customer support requirements of the supported team, including account management, business development support, implementation and service personnel, and other sales and management resources as needed.
- Works closely with Customer Service support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.
- This position may be assigned to support a geography or one or more named account teams.
- Achieves assigned product sales quota.
- Supports initiatives that ensure product profitability.
- Achieves product growth targets in the assigned geography or account base.
- Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
- Completes required training and development objectives within the assigned geography and time frame.
- Four‑year college degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum six years of sales experience in a business‑to‑business, large/strategic customer segment; or a record of achievement in the Account Manager position.
- 3+ years of software marketing/product management experience.
- 5+ years experience in Graphic Communications and Industrial Print.
- PC proficiency.
- Travel is required (approximately 50% or more).
- Ability to speak in public environments.
- High energy and passion for performance.
