Join our Smart & Final store operations team as a Part‑time Retail Associate. You will help customers, maintain store sections, stock merchandise, clean, and support the overall customer experience.

• Maintain an assigned store section and stock merchandise using proper equipment.
• Ensure proper pricing, product rotation, and shelf stock.
• Prepare perishable products for sale as needed.
• Set up advertising/promotional displays.
• Maintain sanitation standards in interior and exterior areas of the store and parking lot.
• Offer friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and courteous assistance to customers.
• Assist customers with loading purchases into vehicles when requested.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties, including recording lost/damaged goods and store supplies.

• Read and write English, interact with the general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
