Smart & Final is hiring a Part‑time Associate at our 330 West Los Angeles location. This role offers a base pay of $18.00 per hour.

• Read and write English and interact with the general public and coworkers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 60 pounds.

The Part‑time Associate reports to the Store Manager and performs support‑related duties, which may include but are not limited to:

• Maintain a store section, order, receive, and stock merchandise; ensure proper pricing and rotation.
• Clean and maintain sanitation standards inside and outside the store and parking lot.
• Operate a cash register, receive payments, make change, process refunds, and verify eligibility for alcohol sales.
• Offer friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers and load purchases into customer vehicles.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties, recording lost/damaged goods and store supplies.
