Base pay range$20.00/hr - $21.00/hr
Position PurposeCashiers play a critical customer service role by providing customers with fast, friendly, accurate and safe service. They process Checkout and/or Return transactions, as well as monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area. They proactively seek product/project knowledge to provide customers with information and identify selling opportunities. They follow all policies and procedures to ensure that shrink is minimized.
Responsibilities- Process Checkout and/or Return transactions.
- Monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area.
- Proactively seek product knowledge to provide customers with information and identify selling opportunities.
- Follow policies and procedures to minimize shrink.
- Assist in coaching and training of other Front End Associates and participate in training of new Cashiers.
- Support front-end operations including price checks, and assist with escalation for customer issues as needed.
- Preferred qualification: 1+ years of Cashier experience.
