As a Produce Clerk at Sprouts Farmers Market, you will be living our name on a daily basis. All of our produce is farm fresh and must be handled, prepared and merchandised properly to deliver the highest level of customer service and satisfaction in our store. You will:

• Stock the Produce department, including presentation of product, facing, filling, and organization of all product items as set by the Produce Department schematics and ensuring tag and pricing accuracy
• Ensure proper stocking and rotation of merchandise, including trimming, watering, and merchandising of products to maintain fresh, high quality offerings
• Maintain inventory control to maximize product freshness and availability and answer customer questions in a friendly and helpful manner

Note: Team Members under the age of 18 are restricted from certain tasks, including using knives (other than safety cutters), ladders, operating garbage or cardboard compactors, operating motor/electronically powered equipment, and prolonged time in coolers or freezers.

• Be at least 16 years of age
• Be dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Show mutual respect for others and maintain a high-level code of ethics within Sprouts’ culture of diversity, equity and inclusion
• Have a positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers
• Strong communication skills; ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
• Ability to perform repetitious activities, multi-task, prioritize and stay organized
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb throughout the shift and lift/move heavy objects up to 50 lbs. (various exertion ranges and distances) and operate with or without mechanical assistance
• Ability to walk up to 5 miles in an 8 hour shift
• Adhere to safety, health, OSHA and Weights and Measures regulations
• Ability to perform other related duties as assigned

The pay range for this position is $18.20 - $24.55 per hour. Sprouts Farmers Market determines pay based on applicable experience and qualifications of the applicant.
