The Role:Store Operations Manager
We’re looking for a driven Store Operations Manager to lead, inspire, and strategically manage all aspects of our store’s performance. You’ll ensure every customer enjoys an exceptional experience, while building a high-performing team and keeping operations running at their best.
You’ll take ownership of both the front-of-house retail experience and the back-of-house operational engine, ensuring the store operates as a high-performing retail and omnichannel hub. Through strong leadership, data-driven decision-making, and cross-team collaboration, you’ll drive results while championing Classic Football Shirts’ values.
This role is perfect for someone who loves delivering consistent retail standards, fostering a culture of accountability, and supporting the growth and development of their team.
Hours:40 hours+ per week, 5 days a week between Monday to Sunday - 2 days off in the week when working over the weekend
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Store Performance
- Take full accountability for store sales, profit, and key performance metrics (including conversion, revenue, AOV, Labour, UPT, and order fulfillment accuracy)
- Develop and execute local strategies to achieve and exceed revenue and margin targets.
- Contribute forward-thinking ideas and strategic input to enhance retail performance, customer engagement, and operational efficiency through effective planning and innovation.
- Analyse store, fulfillment, and e-commerce performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and operational improvements.
- Work collaboratively with Marketing, E-Commerce, and Operations to align store activities with wider business objectives and campaigns.
- Drive community and fan engagement initiatives to build brand awareness and loyalty.
- Build workforce plans to ensure optimal staffing levels aligned with trading patterns, events, fulfillment demand and sales peaks, whilst ensuring labour budgets are met.
- Lead succession planning and talent development within your team identifying high-potential individuals and creating pathways for growth. Including conducting regular 1:1’s with your direct reports.
- Drive a high-performance culture through regular coaching, recognition, and accountability.
- Conduct performance reviews and hold employees accountable for meeting objectives and behavioural expectations.
- Act as a role model for Classic Football Shirts’ values and culture, ensuring they are lived and demonstrated daily by the team.
- Ensure that schedules are published in plenty of time, ensuring adherence to local labour laws where necessary.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training to build a capable, motivated, and passionate retail and fulfillment team.
- Ensure the store delivers an exceptional, authentic customer experience where every interaction reflects our passion for football culture and brand story while driving omnichannel engagement, encouraging customers online, and building lasting loyalty.
- Maintain excellent service standards and resolve escalated customer issues efficiently.
- Champion brand consistency and visual merchandising, ensuring displays are engaging, relevant, and commercially effective.…
