Experts of store process and efficiency who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise areas of the store. This team conducts inventory accuracy, merchandise setup and maintenance and pricing processes for all areas of the store.

They support efficient delivery to our guests by enabling pick, pack and ship fulfillment work.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs and answer questions.
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target.
• Execute daily tasks to achieve store goals, including receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing backrooms, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs for GM areas.
• Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures if certified.
• Change prices, set up and maintain merchandise, and ensure inventory accuracy as directed.
• Learn how procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about store resources, products, and services to solve issues and improve guest experience.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
• Work safely, comply with safety policies, report hazards, and take corrective action where possible.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (e.g., picking/packing orders, delivering pickup orders) while complying with laws.
• Other duties as needed based on business needs.

• Move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds without assistance.
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance.
• Work in varying temperatures and conditions as needed for store operations.
• Remain mobile for the duration of shift; shift length may vary.
