Starting Hourly Rate: $19.00 USD per hour

Working at Target means helping all families discover the joy of everyday life. In the General Merchandise and Food Sales area, you will support inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, and presentation processes to ensure a consistent experience for our guests.

• Execute a detailed, accurate, and efficient sorting operation.
• Stock, organize, and store reserve product and straighten merchandise on the sales floor.
• Maintain product availability on the sales floor for GM categories.
• Operate powered equipment while unloading freight or moving merchandise.
• Process defective merchandise and handle environmentally sensitive items in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
• Work safely at all times; comply with safety policies, best practices, and training; report hazards and correct where possible.
• Support guest services such as back‑up cashier, order pick‑up (OPU), and Drive‑Up (DU) while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local adult beverage laws.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks.
• Engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs.
• Thank guests and express appreciation for choosing Target.
• Perform all other duties based on business needs.

• At least 18 years of age.

• Ability to communicate with handheld devices and scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow multi‑step processes.
• Maintain focus and composure in a fast‑paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established time frames.
• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb up and down ladders and lift merchandise up to 44 pounds.
• Work in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements (e.g., Drive‑Up, carry‑out).
