Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T2775) — Join to apply for this role rting hourly rate: $19.75 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Assist guests with their specific needs by engaging in a welcoming manner and helping solve issues.
• Inform guests about current promos, store activities, and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store, and those specific to your area, to resolve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Thank guests and express appreciation for their choice to shop at Target.
• Explain the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Explain and demonstrate Target App features and Wallet, and guide guests on Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering.
• Handle returns following store policies, consulting with leadership as needed to resolve guest concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and manage inventory tasks such as stocking during store hours.
• Adhere to safety policies, ethical conduct, and compliance; report hazards and take corrective action where possible.
• Support guest services such as order pick-up, Drive-Up, DU returns, and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Perform other duties as needed based on business needs.

• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology, and to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and complete multiple tasks within set time frames.

• Accurately handle checkout operations and support cash office functions as needed.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance.
• Ability to stay mobile for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions when performing duties such as Drive-Up and carryout.
