Position: Store Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time / Exempt

Pay Range: $80K-$110K annually + Eligible for performance-based incentive

About the Role

As an OLIVE YOUNG Store Manager, you are the driving force behind the store and the brand’s success — leading your team, shaping the customer experience, and delivering business results that bring OLIVE YOUNG’s mission to life. You set the vision, strategy, and standards for the store, ensuring every customer interaction reflects our commitment to healthier beauty.

This role goes beyond operational oversight—you’ll lead our people, leverage business insights, data analysis, and seasonal strategies to proactively drive sales and hit key performance goals, all while fostering a culture of excellence and leading a trend-forward mindset. You will also champion team development, coaching and mentoring talent to reach their full potential, and ensure the store runs seamlessly by maintaining inventory accuracy and backstage operational excellence.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the U.S. beauty market, and a passion for both established and emerging beauty brands. This is a pivotal leadership role in upholding OLIVE YOUNG’s brand values and translating them into exceptional in-store experiences that help customers in their beauty journey.

What You’ll Do

The following duties are considered 'Essential Functions' of the role. Qualified individuals must be able to perform these tasks with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Strategic Leadership: Essential functions include, but are not limited to, driving sales performance through team leadership by analyzing store performance trends, executing company sales targets through promotions, LSM (store self-promotion), and omnichannel initiatives, and translating performance data into disciplined execution on the sales floor.
  • Financial Accountability: Own store sales and financial outcomes by setting clear sales and profit targets, monitoring key KPIs and budgets, analyzing sales and income statement trends, and managing expenses to optimize performance and reduce risk.
  • Inventory Oversight: Oversee end-to-end store inventory operations, including automatic replenishment and order quantity reviews, tester management, resolution of purchasing issues, misdeliv​eries, and damaged goods, while ensuring accurate stock flow and organized stockroom operations.
  • Inventory Health/Availability Management: Drive inventory health and availability by managing out-of-stock response, clearance execution, product disposal, and loss rate control, including SHD and stagnant inventory management.
  • Compliance & Training: Ensure team readiness and compliance by being accountable for all required training so team members can deliver exceptional service, build customer loyalty, and meet all regulatory and company standards.
