POSITION TITLE:

Senior Allocator

POSITION

PURPOSE:

Maximizes sales and profitability through accurate and timely product allocations. Approves model stocks, size analysis and alpha ranks. Develops allocation plans by department. Manages visual mapping process and approves distribution plan.

Collaborate with cross-functional team to define ownership and manage replenishment. Work with cross-functional team to ensure timely and accurate execution of new store assortments and quantities. Review performance to determine appropriate allocation for maximum results. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. May assist more junior staff members with aspects of their job. Work is generally accomplished without direction. Solves most problems without assistance.

Monitor sales performance in order to achieve fiscal goals. Maintain correct stock levels by store. Meet or exceed sales, gross margin and inventory turn goals. Analyze and communicate location performance, including sales/inventory comparisons, seasonality and marketing impacts. Develop departmental distribution strategies to capture location-based opportunities (from analysis, quantify volume and profit opportunities).

Develop knowledge of regional variances and store attributes and trends through data analysis and field communication. Develop effective field relationships to capture location opportunities/liabilities.
