• Read and write English, interact with the general public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs, frequently lift up to 45 lbs, and occasionally lift up to 60 lbs.

The Part‑time Associate reports to the Store Manager and performs management‑assigned duties, which may include but are not limited to receiving inventory, stocking a store section, operating a cash register, providing carry‑out services, and maintaining store cleanliness.

• Maintain a store section, order, receive, and stock merchandise with proper equipment, ensure proper pricing, check product date codes, and stock shelves, displays, and refrigerated/frozen cases. Prepare perishables for sale and set up promotional displays. Review invoices for accuracy.
• Cleans and maintains sanitation standards in all interior and exterior areas of the store and parking lot as directed by store management.
• Operates a cash register, receives payment, processes transactions, and handles refunds and alcohol sales eligibility checks.
• Offers friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous assistance to customers, providing current store and product information. Loads customer purchases into vehicles when requested.
• Performs basic bookkeeping duties, recording lost/damaged goods and store supplies using appropriate tools.
