Overview
Position summary:
Complete opening and closing duties, set up necessary supplies and tools, clean all equipment and areas, lock doors, and maintain cleanliness and condition of counters, tables, and other tools. Input orders into the cash register system, take orders, and manage beverage and food preparation and service to guests. Ensure appliances are turned on/off at appropriate times and maintain overall cleanliness of work areas following setup guidelines.
- Set up, stock, and maintain work areas; stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies; transport supplies to beverage setup area.
- Wash soiled glassware and remove soiled wares from counters and tables to designated areas.
- Input orders into the cash register system and collect payment from customers; take orders and record in MICROS system; issue, open, and dispense wine/beer bottles; prepare food and coffee beverages.
- Present the order to guests in a timely manner and within standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and condition of work areas, counters, tables, and tools; wash dishes, utensils, and equipment throughout the day.
- Input and manage changes for expected business level; count bank at end of shift; complete designated cashier reports; resolve discrepancies; drop off receipts; secure bank.
- Secure beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas; bus counter areas and tables.
- Follow company safety and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete safety trainings and certifications.
- Greet and acknowledge guests; anticipate service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation; communicate clearly and professionally.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships; support team to reach common goals; adhere to quality expectations and standards.
- Read and visually verify information; visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects; stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; lift up to 25 pounds; move through various environments; reach and flex as needed; perform other reasonable duties as requested.
