Shift Manager

Overview

This position is for a Shift Manager at a McDonald’s restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is the sole employer and is responsible for all employment matters.

• Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
• Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to uphold Quality, Service and Cleanliness standards.
• Plan shifts, monitor performance, take corrective action, and communicate with the next Shift Manager to facilitate smooth handoffs.
• Maintain food safety, internal communication, inventory management, daily maintenance and cleanliness, crew management, quality food production, exceptional customer service, safety and security, scheduling, and training.
• Help assigned departments meet their goals and achieve target metrics.

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule and passion for the fast‑paced McDonald’s environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain a safe, secure, and profitable shift.
