About Girl & The Goat LAChef Stephanie Izard and her team are thrilled to join LA’s vibrant restaurant community and to take advantage of the area’s incredible bounty of produce and long growing seasons. While Girl & The Goat LA, designed by Studio K Creative, will share the global influence and bold flavors of its Chicago flagship, the culinary team is looking forward to crafting new dishes inspired by California produce and local flavors.
Host'sResponsibilities
- Warmly and graciously greet all guests and thank guests as they leave.
- Escort guests to their assigned tables at a comfortable pace while making friendly conversation.
- Answer phone calls, relay messages, and book and confirm reservations.
- Maintain ongoing communication with management and the chef, alerting them of possible waits, guest issues, high-profile guests, etc.
- Must be energetic, enthusiastic, and have a great attitude.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with Open Table preferred.
- Lift and move up to 10 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Safely and effectively use all necessary tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals.
- Stand and walk for an entire shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant which may include stairs, uneven, and/or slick surfaces.
- Ability to bear exposure to hot and cold environments.
