Our client is seeking a real estate transactions associate with 4–5 years of experience and a strong focus on office and retail leasing. This is an opportunity to join a sophisticated Real Estate Transactions & Finance practice working on high profile, complex deals across major asset classes.
The associate will handle a broad mix of transactional work, including:
- Office leasing for major tenants (tenant-side preferred; landlord-side valuable)
- Retail and ground leasing
- Drafting and negotiating commercial leases, purchase and sale agreements, mortgage loan documents, joint ventures, construction agreements, CC&Rs, REAs, and easements
- Acquisitions, dispositions, financing, development, and mixed-use projects
- Managing closings and coordinating deal workflow
- 4–5 years of broad real estate transactional experience
- Strong background in office leasing transactions for major tenants; landlord side experience a plus
- Experience with hospitality or CC&Rs is a plus.
- Excellent drafting, communication, and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
- Team oriented approach and strong problem-solving skills
