Documentation Specilaist - covering a maternity leave.
El Segundo, CA (Hybrid – Tues/Thurs in office)

3-Month Contract (Maternity Leave Coverage)

We’re partnering withwell-know health supplement companyto find a detail-loving Documentation Specialist to support their Quality & Regulatory team during a maternity leave.

If you’re the type who secretly enjoys perfectly formatted spreadsheets, well-organized SharePoint folders, and making sure every certificate is exactly where it should be… we should talk.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be partnering closely with the current Documentation Specialist and Sr. Quality Assurance Manager to keep everything organized, compliant, and audit-ready while the team searches for a permanent Sr. Quality Specialist.

Expect a healthy mix of:

  • Reviewing and maintaining quality & regulatory documentation
  • Drafting and managing Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and Conformance
  • Publishing and organizing documents in SharePoint and ERP systems
  • Supporting supplier and co-packer documentation requests
  • Updating SOPs, specs, and forms as needed
  • Ensuring documentation stays current, accurate, and compliant

This is a paperwork-heavy, detail-driven role — ideal for someone who thrives in structured environments and enjoys keeping systems clean and compliant.

What We’re Looking For
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills (Excel is a must)
  • Experience in food, beverage, or dietary supplement manufacturing strongly preferred
  • Comfort working within ERP systems and Share Point
  • 2+ years of QA/Regulatory experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or related scientific field preferred
  • Working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, SQF, FSMA, and FDA regulations is a big plus
  • Exceptional attention to detail (the kind that catches version numbers and expiration dates without blinking)
The Setup
  • Hybrid schedule (in-office Tuesdays & Thursdays)
  • Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm
  • Immediate need for a 3-month maternity leave coverage
