Silvus is seeking a Quality Control Inspector III who will report to the Quality Control Inspection Supervisor on the OQC team. Primary responsibilities will include conducting thorough inspections, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring proper procedures are followed for incoming electronic and mechanical parts and during the manufacturing and testing process. This role is also responsible for investigating any quality issues, anomalies, or failures and will work alongside engineering and suppliers to recommend any necessary changes or improvements.

The position is full-time, on-site daily, Monday through Friday. The location for this role is Silvus Technologies’ HQ in the heart of West LA.

• Independently perform and document detailed inspections of complex products and assemblies, including advanced electronic components, cable harnesses, RF assemblies, mechanical enclosures, and integrated sub‑systems.

• Lead root cause identification efforts for recurring or high‑impact inspection issues in collaboration with QA Engineering.

• Conduct receiving, in‑process inspections; support First Article Inspection (FAI) processes in accordance with AS9012 standards.

• Train and mentor Level 1 and Level 2 inspectors in proper inspection methods, tool usage, and documentation practices.

• Serve as quality liaison with production, engineering, and supply chain to drive immediate resolution of quality issues.

• Assist in the development and refinement of inspection procedures and checklists based on lessons learned and product feedback.

• Review and validate inspection records for accuracy and completeness, escalating issues when appropriate.
