Aerospace QC Inspector

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Aerospace QC Inspector to join a quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring aerospace components and assemblies meet stringent industry standards and regulatory requirements. This position involves performing comprehensive quality inspections, audits, and data analysis to uphold the highest levels of safety, reliability, and compliance within manufacturing processes.

The Aerospace QC Inspector will utilize advanced measurement tools and quality management systems to maintain rigorous quality control protocols aligned with AS9100, ISO 9001
, and other relevant standards.

• Inspect incoming and manufactured parts
• Use gauges, calipers, and other inspection tools
• Read and interpret 2D drawings and CAD models
• Manage First Article Inspection (FAI) processes
• Coordinate with customer source inspectors prior to shipping
• Maintain compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards
• Oversee and enforce quality procedures and standards

• Proven experience in aerospace quality control or inspection within manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with AS9100 and related aerospace quality standards
• Hands-on experience with calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems
• Strong understanding of QA/QC processes and quality management systems
• Ability to analyze data accurately and maintain detailed compliance documentation
• Knowledge of calibration procedures for precision measuring instruments (preferred)
• Experience participating in quality audits and assessments (plus)
