Job Description

Silvus Stream Caster radios are being rapidly adopted by customers all over the world ranging from the U.S. and Allied Nations Departments of Defense to International, Federal, State, and Local Law Enforcement agencies, all the way to the Superbowl, Grammys, and industry-leading drone, robot, and unmanned systems manufacturers.

** THE OPPORTUNITY
** Silvus is seeking a
** Quality Control Inspector I
** who will report to the
* Quality Control Inspection Supervisor
* on the OQC team. Primary responsibilities will include conducting thorough inspections, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring proper procedures are followed for incoming electronic and mechanical parts and during the manufacturing and testing process. This role is also responsible for investigating any quality issues, anomalies, or failures and will work alongside engineering and suppliers to recommend any necessary changes or improvements.
The position is full-time, on-site daily, Monday through Friday. The location for this role is Silvus Technologies’ HQ in the heart of vibrant
** West LA.

** ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
*** Perform and document inspections of products and processes, including electronic cables, GPS devices, Wi-Fi dongles, connectors, mechanical enclosures, shields, and other critical components.
* Conduct inspections tied to receiving raw materials, parts, components, and fit checks as necessary.
* Ability to inspect First Article components and subassemblies.
* Prepare in-process inspection reports, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
* Maintain Quality documentation.
* Identify the serviceability of parts and components and appropriate tooling.
** REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
*** High School Diploma or GED required.
* Minimum 1 year of electronic part inspection experience.
